About Alice
In 2011, Alice co-founded one of Scotland’s leading social enterprise, Social Bite, a cafe chain famous for feeding and employing the homeless community and bringing A-listers like George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Harry & Meghan to Scotland. Alice & the team made Social Bite a nationwide success, distributing over 150,000 fresh food items each year to those in need, housing over 800 people and campaigning for policy reform.
The professional growth she experienced there was an invaluable but conflicting experience for her. She'd given up her own well-being and sense of self in exchange for seeming professional success, experiencing several burnouts along the way. Alice engaged in some intensive coaching over 2 years and discovered that understanding ourselves and others on a deeper level can liberate us and the way we work.
Eventually, with Social Bite employing over 100 people and thriving, Alice decided to leave Social Bite, where she was lacking her own sense of purpose, to begin a new chapter. In 2020, she retrained as a Business & Purpose Coach and prides herself on a science-based approach combining cognitive behavioural coaching, insights from neurobiology, breathwork and the Enneagram. She uses her expertise to listen, guide, and gently challenge her clients, facilitating a structured process that unlocks the potential in the room and helps them create their path ahead.
She holds 3 Honorary Degrees for her contribution to social enterprise, a Higher Diploma in Coaching with the Association for Coaching (and follows their Code of Conduct & Global Code of Ethics), a Higher Diploma in People Management, a certificate in Neurochemistry, Psychology and a certificate in The Narrative Enneagram. She is currently undergoing a professional certification in the Enneagram of personality and plans to earn a degree in Psychology once her professional certification is complete.
“To lead with candour & compassion, creating a space where people can find their truth and access their untapped potential.”
